The heart of the GX1 is its 13 jewels gold plated Swiss 1/10th of a second chronograph. It features a 1/10 of a second indication at six o'clock and all the chronograph hands are adjustable.

100% Swiss Made. Caliber 5040.D, 13 Jewel gold plated Swiss 1/10th of a second chronograph with date, fully adjustable hands, 3-5 year battery life, with EOL indicator
EOL stands for End Of Life indicator. This is the function showing when the battery of the movement needs to be changed.
The seconds hand shall then remain still for five seconds and jump to the next minutes marker and so on and so on.

If this means anything, this is the watch I wear when I'm not wearing my Rolex Submariner. My only complaint is the strength of the luminance used on the hour and minute hands, as well as the minute dots. It only lasts about 3 to 4 hours into the night. So, I use my iPhone for the time in the middle of the night. The rest of the watch is impeccable.
