The Gravel Nordic Camo wears its toughness in the open. A Nordic camo pattern runs across the dial and onto the matching strap, set into an ultralight, round case of Rugged Dense Carbon® that shrugs off the day and barely registers on the wrist. Inside is the brand new La Joux-Perret G100, a 24-jewel Swiss automatic with a 68-hour power reserve. Wind it Friday, set it down, pick it up Monday. It is still keeping time.
The G100 beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) for a smooth sweep and confident timekeeping. A solid tungsten rotor on a ball-bearing mount winds efficiently from the smallest wrist movement, and KIF anti-shock protection guards the balance against impact. Through the skeleton caseback you get Côtes de Genève striping across the bridges. Paired with the Gravel's own shock absorber system, that is protection at both ends: the case takes the hit, the movement never feels it.
