A tribute to the 352nd Fighter Group, the "Blue-Nosers" whose P-51 Mustangs became legend over the skies of Europe. This limited edition carries that spirit in a sandblasted high-grade titanium case that stays light on the wrist and built to endure. A deep blue dial sets the tone, its hand-applied indexes filled with BGW9 Super-LumiNova so it reads clearly in any light. Inside beats a Swiss ETA 7750 automatic chronograph with 25 jewels, a day and date display, a 42-hour minimum power reserve, and certified accuracy of +/- 5 seconds per day. Limited to 1,000 pieces across its lifetime production, with a deployant buckle included.

Color scheme is excellent at least to my eye (if you don't love the look, you won't buy it or wear it imo). Build quality seems excellent as well. Just arrived yesterday. Got the blue leather strap and the titanium strap as a spare since I need the waterproof feature as well (leather strap under water not good). Love the deployant buckle on the leather strap (basically same as the titanium strap buckle but I never saw this on a leather strap - value add by LIV). I'm not a "brand" shopper...just show me the best in class and why and I'll listen (LIV has great VALUE imo...my watch would sell for two to four times the LIV pricing if it were an alternate "brand"). LIV has a bunch of beautiful watches...I looked at several before getting this one. I would have been happy with LIV Gravel Cauctus 001 which was the first one I saw that grabbed my eye. Then this P-51 Big Pilot Petie 2nd caught me eye (had to be self winding...not battery for me although I'll say the LIV End of Life (EOL) feature on those solves my biggest issue with battery watches of not knowing when it will quit). In any event, I am very happy with this watch. Looks better in real life than even in the nice photos on LIV site.
