I recently decided to skinny down my watch collection and focus on less pieces, but more expensive items with lots of character. So I got the Cripes a Mighty P51 and added a thick orange flouro-rubber strap to it(for water resistance and to preserve the lovely leather strap) and its been fantastic.
Yeah, its a big boy on the wrist, but the lightweight titanium case has it wearing like a much smaller watch. It's large, its bold, it has presence and has people spotting it from across the room and asking what it is.
And that's the beauty of a quality timepiece... the conversations that it facilitates between you and other lovers of the craft... the way it does more than just tell you that you are running 5 min late to your dentist appt. It's mechanical are that makes you smile every time you look down at your wrist. Its an object that makes you WANT to look down at your wrist as much as possible.

I can't stop looking at this watch. The black titanium is just flawless and really sets off the piece. The movement is chronometer accurate and the sapphire on both sides shows it off nicely. I can't recommend LIV enough, check them out and you won't be disappointed. I now get why everyone says "it's my FIRST LIV" because they're addictive!
