After 4 months of wearing my Liv GX1-A Ocean Blue, sometimes I’m still fascinated by the movement. The second hand moves 5 times/second, (you can see the the same by looking at the second hand markers) which gives the second hand a look of constant movement, which is unique , also the date changes between 12:00.01 and 12:00.15, the change is immediate, not a slow rollover like every watch I’ve owned. I wore a different watch for a couple of days to let my Liv Automatic wind down about 4 weeks ago. Today it’s running 16 seconds behind after 4 weeks, not a concern at all. On months with 30 days I’d have to change the date anyway. I bought the black steel band which I really like but I’m getting the ocean blue band because it pops out. I’m thinking about getting another Liv watch with the day and date. It’s a beautiful watch that is generational/durable . I plan to pass it on to my great nephew.
