The Swiss Difference
I became obsessed with Swiss watches. I would read about all the old-time watchmakers who transformed the pocket watch into something you could wear on your wrist.
The rich heritage of Swiss horology is something to be marveled at, as are the innovation and the picturesque setting where these fantastic feats of horoligy craftsmanship can not be replicated anywhere in this world.
Fast forward to when we launched the LIV Swiss Watch Company in 2013, I only found one place where we would produce our watches, which is absolutely in SWITZERLAND.
Although plenty of countries have made progress in watchmaking, Switzerland will always remain on top.
Building our watches is not just about the unique designs or the high-grade materials we use; it's about the Swiss movement accuracy and the overall attention to detail that we have in Stabio, Switzerland.
The Swiss culture of watchmaking is unmatched. LIV will always remain Swiss.
Case in point:
Check out our brand new 300-meter GX-Diver, featuring a high-grade stainless steel case with a ceramic bezel and a full-lumen multi-layer dial. Could this be produced for less in France or Germany? Probably. But it won't be Swiss, so it won't be a LIV.
I would love to hear your story about your first encounter with a Swiss timepiece.
